Project E30

RPM Autoworks had recently just started a new project, which is an E30 Beemer that has embarked on a journey of rediscovery. Axis power meets Land of the Rising Sun.

SR20 donor up and ready, note the flat install regards of Chun's (mech) skillz :P

It's original BMW 1.8 motor hauled out and prepped for the bin.
Original Beemer embossed on the rocker cover.
Rear view with mega pipe done and ready.
Interior is stripped out, and prepped for new modern dash.
Donor S13 emptied and fully scavenged for the E30's benefit.

I can't wait to test out this monster build!

Damnnn... This car will be badass soon.. Eh, why not RB? Why SR?
I thought RB has more power compare to SR?

Hi Rosso, the decision on using the SR is based on the capabilities and tuner friendly nature of this series of engine. Not to mention its commendable power to weight ratio as compared to the RB series engines.

Hi Dennis, thanks for keeping such vigilance over the Dragon70. But I'd been busy this past week and I've just lost track on the entire blogging community.

However, I have many pics on hand and I will update ASAP once I get the blogging ball rolling again :)

The SR series to me is much more responsive and the boost comes in early and fast compared to the RB series...

Oh ya Scav like what you did to your car the Skirting and all... saw some pictures at WH blog...

Hey Kevin, thanks for the comment. Much apreciated. It's all been done by our "god hand" Soon now at Mansion II auto styling.

You can see him to get any treatment you want on your birdy :)

Will meet him if ever in need of any exterior treatment on my Birdy...
